Hello!!

Does anybody know of a good distortion plugin?

Especially for bass, but also for other stuff.

Cheers!

There are different types of disto man, overdrive, fuzz, tubes, saturators, amps, shapers... different algorithms / gear for different results.

There are many i like but for typical bass nothing suits better than Quadrafuzz.

On the second link the distortion ones are Tessla and Ferric... dbGlitch thing was a joke (it can distort sounds tho).

Experiment with different tools to find your favorite for the task. Distortion and tape saturation can be the tools that gives you that shine that you always wanted if used in a good way and not too hot. Or maybe too hot is just what you need, haha one never knows.

I am honestly thinking about getting a hardware compressor, I love to distort and make a bit of buzz out of bass           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
