I live in the uk and I love the parties here.
But ive been going to parties here for so long, nowadays only few parties surprises me.
Going to parties in different country is something special. You dont know what to expect, it ll always be a surprise. Different taste in music, different looking people (girls especially). I love dancing next to people ive never seen before, and the whole vibe of being in place far away from home (well until the end of the party when you have to go back home....longway away).
Just want to ask you guys, obivously in your relative point of view (from a traveller's view hopely), which countries you have been to and partied in, you thought was great (not your OWN country).
So i can make my next destination!
Have a nice day guys! |

I've been to some good 'underground' parties in Israel, got chased out of Hebron by an angry mob for being with a Jewish girl too.

the most beautiful place that i´ve been, was the Atmosphere Festival 2004 in the Swiss Mountains...
Dancing in this huge natural Theater, with a million Stars im the Sky...wooow...
And most of the People there were so lovely...
Huge recommendation!!

Do festivals count or are we talking just simple parties here?

There are good psy trance festivals and good psy trance music at the moment too. One just has to look for this in the right places. Infact i went to a good festival in Bulgaria back in August of this year. Actually there was a Maltese DJ, Kemic-Al. He played a couple of awesome sets, alongside none other than Goa Gil!!Later i got to know that Kemic-Al's sets included music that he himself produced!Well Done MALTA!!Anyway here's the link you might want to check it out - http://www.mati-zemlya.net/photo/thumbnails.php?album=topn&cat=-7
I find the scene in Bulgaria special, because the gatherings are usually not more than 1000 people who are ready to party and enjoy the experience without trying to seem like some re-incarnation of some Hindu Deity or just another hippy wannabee. So my suggestion would be to go East not East as in India or Thailand but East as in East Europe.
