If You want to make good music, you can do it yourself. There is a topic about internet tutorials around here. Look for it and start watching and reading all You can.
All I know right now I learned by my own experimentation and by reading posts on this forum.

i dont get it, 10 years ago if someone wanted or dreamed about making music, they would ge tools and do it...
today i see alot of people being lamme, spamming, calling for help, making selfish promotion... bla bla bla
and the funny is, psytrance is non profitable for no one this days, labels are no longer searching for talents because its irrelevant
and this morons belive that they can reach what they want if they just go into a forum... open a topic asking for tips and thats it
tomorrow they will be DJ´s, create some tracks and be top 10 at beatport
*perhaps all this lunacy in the psytrance comunity is a side effect of extreme abuse of drugs, but its anoying how this people seem to ignore that for a producer that today have the spotlight and is famous... he had to work 10/15 years locked in his studio LEARNING by him self, being ORIGINAL, and most important, NOT COMPLAINING OR CRYING ABOUT IT
so... just do it and stop complaining will ya |

Well I bet most of today PRO producers had a hard time getting to where they are. You can even read old posts here by guys like Vibe Tribe and Electrosun asking noob questions.
I understand your point Ricciardo but also the Internet has become an incredible resource for learning anything, and nowadays contrary to a couple decades ago you can get the way around EDM much faster.
Even 6 years ago there wasn't even a bit of the massive amount of tutorials available online today.
Yeah most noobs have an appetite for shortcuts to success but that is kind of a natural filter for this activity since even with everything free and available to carry on producing only those who sweat on this for a long time see the fruits first dreamed of.
I believe that is the point of this forum after all to help others learn. Even producers from ancient times had others to help them but only those physically close enough would benefit.
Today you can have tips from real pro guys like Billy Cosmosis, DH, colin, Wizack, ido, etc... just because of this forum, so why no take advantage on that?
I think OP already got the idea that this will take some effort / time to learn before even thinking on cash, playmate blowjobs and coke VIP afterparties xD |
