guys have no shame selling stuff that is not pro quality ..if they make money good for them though .
maybe you tube encoding video that don t sound good |

well I got a one time payment from this tutorial (wich I'm ok with  ), and its less then what i earn from one gig  so no i dont feal ashamed

Why did you resort directly to skype? We are an open community, and like to share doubts and answers: try posting your questions here, no matter how idiotic they may seem: no one was born taught.
Also there's a million tons of info here, try digging into our abyss of knowledge

Hard work, perceverance , and patience Is the key of evolution in psytrance, never let money decide what you do in production, I worked for 2 years using only one speaker (left) cuz the other one was broken, and I dindt have any money to fix it, and I could it just let it go, but I decided to keep working with what I had and today I´m so far from 3 years ago.
Im not a pro or anything like that, but if I compare my songs and my knowledge from 3 years ago with what Im doing right now im flying dude. So believe me I know about frustation and going nuts, I worked for 4 years with a pc that worked with just 1 ram, and I dindt even had a desk, It was a one of those metal square tables you use to put in partys or to play dominoes, my chair was broken and the back support was missing, it was really shity times,I always worked with my pc mouse, I never had a midi controler or anything like that, but I continue working every day, and today I have heard people say they like some of my songs, and I know if I continue this path, one day I will become what I always wanted. The peolple that work the most, is who diserve it, I had heard producers brag about working for 5 long hrs in there pc. haha dude I work for 12 or 15 hrs every day, I dont go to partys, I dont hang out with friends of girlfriends anymore. Music is my obsession, I have worked many days for 27 or more hrs, If you want it, you have to fight like crazy to get it, or die trying, I wish you the best of lucks!! peace!! |

Sure there frustration moment's (Here and there) - Thats happen alot when you feel/Hear And see the track story (Inside of you ..) But you just can't (Yet) bring it to reality (Because of the limited knowledge) , I know what you mean , This is happen And this is part of the 'Thing' .
3 year's , 6 , 10 , 14 .. You will start feel much more comfortable , Open and free .. (And this is never ended ..)

Make it an obsession. Try to get as close as possible to the sound you are looking for. The internet is a goldmine for tips and tricks. Before you know it youl make a good bassline and then things will start coming together slowly but surely. Perseverance is definitely the key. Dont expect anything to fall in your lap and if you cant put in the hard work maybe music production is not for you.

There is no shortcut to experience dude... even if you could have all the theory in your brain in one day you'd still need to commit mistake after mistake to learn your own way and train your ears.
All of this takes years... most pro producers have been crafting tracks for decades and it will take time for u2 depending on how much you work everyday.
I'm no pro either and have been into this, first as a hobby then as an obsession, for more than 6 years now (only after my dayjob)... for the first time this year I'm really liking my tracks, I'm super demanding in maters of quality and groove because I now know exactly what I want to make before doing it and I waste no time in finding out how to do it, but I still try to experiment on each project.
But I've only become like this after being reaaaaaally frustrated... everything will get you frustrated... bad melodies, muddy basslines, blurred mix, not loud enough, not psytrance sounding, writer's block, percussion not working...
Frustration is bittersweet. Use it to fuel your need for evolution. Analyze your references as a madman, look for that special something that gives a PRO track the PRO feeling and chase it. Read of it online, discuss it with producer friends, if you don't have any well make some, we all are similar indoor pot smoking geeks.
Be ready to invest money, time, sacrifice social life. Understand what you lack of, learn audio engineering, synthesis, music theory, rythm theory, history of electronic music and finally and most important: express yourself and try to have the quality that you expect from your music in every area of your life or at least on your specific music production workflow.
Remember to use quality sources (synths / samples), quality FX and quality equipment (monitors / interface / DAW ).

Hey psilo those comments made at u are of a minority. I only wish u did them in cubase  . I dont know why ppl get upset at courses or tuts that are sold. Who cares?? Its up to the individual who buys it. Shit i purchased "killer leads". Should billy(cosmosis) feel ashamed. Fuck no!!! Cos it was my choice. And i have no regrets either cos i now understand those synths so much better. Dont stop those tuts u do mate cos they inspire the ppl here. |

the quality of everything matters,..duh.. of course your happy with cosmosis course!! cos its one of the best!
id like to hear you say the same thing when youve spent 29.99 on a shitty ableton project in which you know more than the maker (which isnt alot).. WASTE OF TIME
and unessesary pollution of quality production videos..
somebody who barley leant how to make bass/percs/leads trying to teach someone else FOR MONEY!! =

Snowdogg its up to the individual. They can do a bit of research in here as well as other forums to sus out courses befor purchasing. Thats what i did. Then as i said…its their choice. |
