Hello
I tried the demo version of live and I really liked this soft . Actually I really prefer it over Cubase and I decided to get full copy for myself .
I have 2 questions .
1) Should I wait for Live9 to coming up or just buy Live8 now ?
2) Suite 8 or Live 8 ? I actually prefer to invest 200$ more and get the extra tools on Suite 8 , but I still want to hear the opinions of some owners here .
Thanks for reading and posting |

If you already have some fx and vsti's you probably don't really need the fx and instruments of ableton. But they are a nice and easy to go set, so if you don't mind spending an extra 200 bucks I would grab the suite! there is some really useful stuff in the suite.
I don't know when ableton will come up with 9. But you can easily and usually cheaply upgrade to the next. And I think it might be even free if you got the previous version in the month before the next release or something. But not sure about that one.

im waiting for live 9, but that doesn't mean you can't start on live 8. If I were you i would wait for live 9 and stick with a "try before you buy" version of live 8 and get really used to it! so when live 9 comes you will know exactly what you will be getting and you don't have to upgrade for more money and/or learn new software.

Live 9 has no immediate plans for release AFAIK.
Go with Live 8, there's absolutely no reason to wait. Suite is fine. |

Go for Suite, the instruments that come with it are really good. and there's no immediate plans for live 9, as said before |

Bitwing studio will not be released this year afaik and we dont know much about it other than it looks like live in certain ways....
I would recommend the suite also. Probably there will be stuff you don't need, but theres so much useful stuff in there. I think the instruments like Operator and Analog are already worth the extra costs and theres so much more....
