hey man keep in mind that the speakers im listening to this on right now are sub-par so ...
i think the synth that comes in at 43 seconds sounds good but the notes dont sound right with the bass line all is back to good at 1:30 try some distorion or envelope on the synth boop in this part though nice but not to psychedelic sounding your bass and kick are nice but it sounds like at 2:46 the bassline should change and the strings i think would sound better with a delay and quieter also sound like they need an eq crazy synth at 3:33 samples sound good but id work on your leads your sfx are great kick and bass good but ithink the melodies need work to make this track great. percussion is also good
summary : make all new melodies maybe with some crazier sounding sunths and make the bassline change up more. i like alot of the plucked string melodies though but they all repeat too much and alot of notes dont fit well with the basslines and other overlapping melodies a trick to keep the melodies somewhat similar is take one you like and copy it into the other synth then go over the new one and change a couple notes here and there so most of them are still the same |
