Well in some point I understand what mk47 tried to say. when we talk about Christanity, Islam etc.. is bad and about Hinduism is so spiritual so cool??? wtf? Ok it's truth this topic started very intersting and it's truth some intersting points of view, but are we still talking about religion??? it's truth I am also very interested to have dialogues and discussions about topics about religions, politics, history etc. but everytime when a topic gets about this stuff they close it because guideliness says no religion talk, no politics blablabla. but hey are we not at least some of us civilized and adult persons who searches for answers? so why not to talk about this and change opinions with others. just my 2 cnts

The problem with religion and the reason is not allowed here is this (imho) (I Found this in a religious forum)

imho the reason this thread has survived it is because it's inclined more towards spirituality than to an specific religion, while it is true that some things from hindu phillosophy were mentioned, hinduism is not a religion, but an universe of religions and phillosophies and not all those phillosophies could be considered religions, some are for sure, but others were phillosophies developed to find an answer about the mysteries of this reality, about it's most basic components, also what was said so far, was more focused towards spirituality in a broader scope.
But this is just a humble opinion I might be wrong the important thing here is to keep it constructive, respectful and enlightening, and as neutral as possible that way I guess we can continue with this thread and learn a lot from our friends here
Some interesting Questions come to mind, let's see what people thinks about them.
What is energy?
Could it be that besides the energies we know, specially the more subtle ones like magnetism, gravity or electricity there are other even more subtle energies that we are just learning to perceive?
Could these be spiritual energies?
Could it be that good vibes are spiritual energies?
Where do this energies come from?
How are they generated?
Could it be that there is a source of these good energies?
What is mind?
What are thoughts?
Where they come from, we generate them or just tune with them?
Can thoughts generate energy? or could it be that these energy comes from the same source the thoughts came?
In order to avoid going offtopic, let's remind of the title of the thread, God, have you seen him at parties? after we start pondering and answering those questions let's see how can God or Spirit be related to Energy and how this positive energy can be related to parties too.Peace, Love, Light and Harmony

ya, sometimes when im out tripping balls and see some wild otherwordly things (call it what you will) that most certainly would not be there outside these fierce conditions. But what then? Do you ask its meaning? i would hardly bother. Maybe what's its function? or how does it produce something real? That's as far as I try to go in my questions about any of this. And sometimes, on a foul day , i can recall how it would be to see the sobering impossibilities in my routine simply rip apart into something new and different. The trick though, is to do it yourself now tomorrow and every moment outside that alien mojave world, or whatever it may be. There's some pretty crazy things to be seen out there, and each of us shares in these perceptual makings. its a nice thing . but I don't think any of it has empirical weight, a matter of which I would make this immanent to.. that's just where these questions lead for me.

When the mind is attachement to an object it causes bondage,when is objective it leads to liberation.
an objective mind has the wishdom of god..
If the object is psy trance and mind is attachment to that,then psytrance causes bondage to liberation,but if the mind uses psychedelic trance to see things from an objective view,then that helpS to liberate.
And this happens also with all religions,I mean if the mind is attached to a religion,then religion is the bondage of liberation,but if u use religions to see things by an objective view then u come closer to liberation.
For those who have an objective mind god can be seen in parties,because there is no any kind of bondage that keeps god out of something,anything,god is inside everything in life.
God is also inside drugs and parties,u can see His qualities through visions and music,and feel this divine pressence everywhere,but if u r not clean and not purified u will never reach Him,just only be able to see Him distant from a visionary window in space.
We all have seen the qualities of god,feel the divine enrgies that passing through our microcosmic beings in connection with the macrocosm around the universe as we listen and dance music.
God is not religions,but religions include god,god is not trance but trance include god.
God is spirit ,and through spirituality u can see the connection.
What is that thing that makes us unite,makes us love,respect and feel harmony in the same vibe?
the answer is obvious..
Before thousands of years human beings celebrate the union of the tribe with god,by making ceremonies with music dance and "drugs"the pagan spirit never dies,it guides humanity through the ages,from the Dionysus mysteries of ancient greece,to Shiva Nataraja's tandav...everywhere in tribal life of earth,human beings worship god through parties...
And u still not belive,than a Juno Reactor Show may convince u and say"I saw god in a party"

u talk about trespassing boundaries, galaxies, and such.
u never defined what u meen by God.

well to be honest you guys must tell me what kind of parties u been going lately.
all in all i think u are talking about psychedelic states of mind, human perception of a world larger then our brain, trivial in my opinion. i swear i cant get into psychedelic states nowadays at what you call trance parties. Dodgy clubs, greedy promoters raping your wallet, ppl vomiting and ambulances going throw the dance floor, and then thers cows.. thers women asses.. and so many things that people said that have seen in parties here in this post claiming being god.
no man, i dont think thers such thing as what you are trying to pull off. obviously the culture u have absorbed, together with your own life experience made you feel such things. but not even you can define it.
im those kind of persons that fully respect what eachother think and believe, i entertain myself trying to understand difrent perspectives, hence im replying to your post.
ok so here goes my 2 cents..
try to abstract from everything u know and feel, kinda like going back to the utero. then, come talk about god. and tell me if it makes any sence to you.
it is bound to the human being the need to question, but also the need to surrender into belifs.. and today u belive u saw god at a "trance party" and that he is actually a raver.
this all issue is a loop of never ending gibberish.

@ gopendragon.....nice thoughts .....but i choose not to see God or The Divine Being in parties......Ive come to realize over time that all that cosmic conciousness and all dat blah dat Gil would say is a load of Hogwash......im blinding myself even more if i say ive come to party to experience god.....HOWEVER when im in a higher state of euphoria and im absolutely blissful at any party i close my eyes and i give thanks to God for giving me this oppurtunity to freak all my stress out and for such a euphoric moment.
That is the only "spiritual" connection i have at any trance scene..... over and above i may or may not have an overtly spritual trip depending on my mood....If im specially looking for a "spiritual" trip....before i know i will be bzzzzd i go to church and have a quite conversation with my lord so i know this will have a positive "spiritual" impact on my bzzz......
All the above being said , the "spiritual" (or thats wat url may call it) vibe is not wat im looking for in a party...its an ADDED INCENTIVEto my state of mind.....Mind.....i have differentiaited spirituality from the quest of seeing god at a party.....
I look for God in the milk of human kindness.....when someone is nice or helpful to me even tho im a stranger (at a party or anywhere else) i see the light of god in them....
When i see a happy innocent kid , i see god in them....
I see god in the many helpless , Unfortunate ,people ...the disabled ....the orphans...the helpless.....
This is when i truly see god in them.....In such cases i see God bcoz in such people he presents an opputunity to me to be a better human being by helping them...
Parties r meant to fry and freak.....

i believe everyone is a GOD.
We bear the same 'light' that is called God.
The creator we call God, created everyone in the same likeness & he/she planted the same powers as his/her own.
We just fail to serach for GOD within oursleves, rather we keep searching for GOD everywhere else.
Let me tell you a story.
Once god got tired of all the people bothering him/her with all the troubles they were bearing in the phsyical world & he thought of just hiding at a place where no one could find him/her.
So god went to a friend's place & discussed the situation, after a couple of drink & some smokes, god told his/her friend that i would go and hide on Mt. Everest. But the friend said that soon Edmond Hilary would climb Mt Everest & will find you there.
After a couple of more shots, God said i will go to moon & hide & the friend said, soon there will be Neil Armstrong reaching up there & will find you.
They kept drinking & smoking until God's friend aksed God to hide inside people & no one except a few seem to discover the inner self & are occupied by everything else except their own being.
The idea struck & since then God has been hiding inside us all.
