Goasia was born in 2000. In the beginning, the unique member was Balint Tihamer. In 2005, Kanc Cover entered the project.
It's one of the few projects that allready keeps alive the subgenre Goa Trance.
Goagadar: Hi guys! Please introduce yourself to our readers. Who is beyond Goasia?
Balint: Balint Tihamer born 1967 in Becej, little town in North Serbia ,speciallity is economic ,job is hotelier and orientation is studiofreak and producer of electronic music.
Kanc: Vladislav Radulovic aka Kanc Cover. Born 1979 in Cacak, town in West Serbia. Speciallity is Commputer Graphics designer and orientation is producer of electronic music, DJ and manager.
Goagadar: Balint, in the past, you worked with artists like Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, etc. Tell us about these experiences.
And after that, you stopped during some years, and when you came back to muscial scene you chose Trance. Why?
Balint: eh ,i wish it was like that , I mean the interpretation is incorrect , the mentioned pioneers of electronic music only influenced my musical orientation, and started the interest for electronical musical instruments ever since. However, I was working on some pop oriental electronic projects in late 80s, had some publications for the bigest publishing label in ex-Yugoslavia , but with 90s i stopped working with music. Untill year 2000. when one of my friends showed me one of Astral Projection’s and when I realised that THAT is the music I want to create, the connection of electronics, spirit and evocation of somethin very unusual...
Goagadar: Kanc tell us about your other projects. How do they affect music of Goasia?
Kanc: Beside the project Goasia i am in 3 more side projects. The first one is under the my nick, Kanc Cover, downtempo & ambient and im in Cosmic leaf records too. Also have solo project Orbital Psy (Opsy) wich is based on night progressive sound with admixture of tech trance and one more experimental project, X-Raything.
Goagadar: When Kanc joined the project, what changed? How do you work together? What does each one like more and don't like on the other's kind of work?
Goasia: Like in a good company, job must be organised and everyone should have they own tasks, do jobs what they know to do best ;-) and upgrade eachother . We do production at my place in Becej , live acts arange togeather and Kanc presenta our music and does live acts of project Goasia, alone, because of my family and business obligations.
Goagadar: The end of Goa Trance hass been argued and the replace of melodic sounds by some more industrial sounds is obvious. Please explain us what is the Goa Trance for you and tell us about what you think will happen on the future.
Goasia: Certainly Goatrance is evolving in something more different than what was been on the begining .. ;-) ... not just from the aspect of production, but the musical evocation too and so some major adjustments happened. While Goatrance had some organic, humanand warm characterteristics, hither psy, fullon ,etc emits cold industrial design and starts totally new emotions in human. While in Goatrance you feel happiness, euforia and pain meaning goatrance has a scent of life, newer genres doesn’t have that “human touch” , and reminds me of mathematic-logical construction of instant life. Just like humanoids with no emotions... That is unique feeling too but the first one is much closer to us.
Goagadar: Besides Trance, you produce also Chill-out music. Tell us about that source of project.
Goasia: Untill today, we have released 3 chillout tracks, two for Cosmicleaf and one for Kagdila. Those tracks contain allready mention organic spirit of our music. Every music, every track should be a story told by producers which want to share emotions with the listeners. Just like in trance music, we abide the same principles for chillout.
Goagadar: You have pulished several Trance and Chill-out tracks in compilations and also a release divided with Omegahrstz, published by Union Records on September 2006. In terms of Goasia releases, what can we expect for the future?
Goasia: After this releases, it’s time for an album , but we also would like to be on compilations of labels which, even with lots of hard times, keep publishing. Beside, we are in contact with some labels, sooo... with who and how? .. thats the question of future ;-) the more important thing is that lovers of our sound get our music...
Goagadar: About you gigs, how the things are going? Are the producers open to your work? What can we expect on 2007?
Goasia: Offcourse, we get offers more and more. Some of them became, some not, from different reasons. Anyway, 03.03.2007 we are in Budapest, Hungaria i and we wait confirm for Belgium, i think thats in same month as Budapest. In the meantime maybe, we will get more offers. We will update u for sure 
Goagadar: Do you want share something more about your project?
Goasia: yes, we will send u picture of our studio ,wich is in permanent expansion and we hope that more old analog synthesizer will find place in our studio racks ..
