This post is quite long, but its the best way for me to say what I want to
and also I'm sorry for promoting myself like this, but I feel I have something to offer....
Here is little bit of my story....
My first trance party was when I was 7 years old.
-Anjuna, Goa. 1985.
The first Dj I saw mixing was my dad, Dj ShivaEye
(the second was Gill, before he became 'Goa Gill')
I've spent 2 months in Goa almost every year during the season, and over the last few years have played whenever I am there
For 5 years I spent the seasons in Goa, and rest of the year in Denmark. I lived and played in Amsterdam for sometime, outdoor: Ruigoord
And have lived in NYC for 5 years now.
My dad, who lives in London, does not Dj anymore, but still sends me good music sometimes!
Like many of the kids who I grew up with on the beach in Goa, ofcourse we love the trance, we would fall asleep at these parties by 3am, becuse we were young. Our dreams would have a psy-trance soundtrack, and we would wake up just before sunrise for the best part! Slowly slowly a lot of us started to practice mixing, helping the older Dj's set up parties and soon many of us were behind the mixer... I remember my beach-bum group of friends, and then think of us now, Domino (djDomino) Lives most of the year in Japan where she is full-time-full-on Dj, Equinox Records.
Diago, Boom records, he's in Portugal doing the Boom festival and playing all over (and will be playing in Brazil this new-years)
Diago if you are reading this, I still remember when we were driving the bikes and you pushed me off the road! crazy portuguesa, bom shankar, I'm comming to Boom soon and you better have a spot for me (5am to 7am ok baba?)
And say hi to Matias for me...
If any of you are going to Brazil for newyear look out for these two Dj's (Diago, Matias) they do good stuff! Anyway, over the years we started popping up all over the place, playing music, or still dancing for 3 days, making our trance dreams come true... being young in Goa was a life of freedom, but for some people too much freedom... many of the kids who grew up in Goa ended up never growing up. But most end up pretty global-type, open people.
I had a good time in Israel also, stayed with some friends in TelAviv... Hamakabi street! (Rue De Hamakabi?)
you guys party full-on man, its how I like it,
but if you call me and say I need someone to play more progressive, I will do that too, because trance is trance, and I love it.... but I warn you, even my progressive sets, always by the end it goes full-on.
I was laying low while I was in college in NY, just doing trance parties on campus, quietly converting people into trance, because there was no trance scene at my school before. But I finished all this school business 2 years ago, live in NYC now, have been playing quite a lot and am very involved with the TripOut NY - BrainMachines circuit. Its nice, I play at some parties, at other one's I get in free because people have been asking me to write reviews or funny scenes and stories from the parties and they go on the website.... but these are all small details,
Basically, I'm active Dj, and just recently found out that I will be here for more years (I just got a work visa), so I am ready to grow and expand, meet more people, come to new and different parties, of course I am available to play at parties, and would love to.

I've been playing at small clubs, weekly trance parties at Boom, Liquids, and some private ones, lofts etc... I want to and am ready to go bigger now. But I will always like to play for small parties aswell, so if you need Dj's for that, still call me.
and for those of you who know Goa..... 9bar, Anjuna field, private parties behind SitaRam's old house, (near the German bakery) private parties in my house, (private party in Goa means, if you can find the party, you can come) I've played in all these places...
Also my friends, the trance people who I meet all over the world, If you come to Goa or any place that I can help you, it is done. We can do parties together in Goa, if you want to do the party yourself but you have some questions like who, what, how
I'm there to help, no bullshit.

You want to tour Japan? play at Boom? give me your CD, I cannot promise you that they say yes, that depends on your CD... but I promise you that it will go from my hands to the hands of a person or Dj who is close friends with the label owner or festival organizer... realworld stuff. Ofcourse you have to be real to me too.
All I want is for the trance to keep growing.
and I'm not just talk talk talk... this is all there.

IMPORTANT: The club has two floors,
The trance party is on the top floor.
so don't get surprised if when you come in
it does not look trance, just go upstairs,
the trance is there.
