dont like Simons style much coz its sound similar all the time .. hey wots wrong with full on ? hm we have to listen that stuff wot they produce for us . like we or dislike .. hey anybody may produce the pure goa trance ? if we need it let somebody hear that and make us happy ... i dont mind against full on even some ppl think its cheezy /fluffy .. i dislike only maybe dark and prog .. anyway i have no choice to listen wot style i exactly like much ..' how eva far away ill always love u , how eva long i stay ill always love u ,wot eva words i say ill always love u ' frm a now playin song .. i ll always love the rure goa trance

Well, old goa vibes, are old goa vibes.
There always was, and will always be psychedelic music. In every aspect, in every form. It's just that the rules are changing, and new forms of obtaining this message are being created.
What some people really hate, is that they think that the music nowadays is falling apart, being more and more commercial.Personally, I feel that way too. I think, as I said before, that 90% of todays trance sucks. Badly.
But then again, this was inevitable, because music has to sell in someway, in order for the artists to get paid. Todays software and hardware, has made it easier for many people to start producing music. Easier is the keyword. Those who try hard, were, and still are, the minority. People inside this forum call some older trance bands and artists. Just think, how many you knew back then, and how many right now...? I'm sure that you get the point.
But more artists doesn't actually mean worse music ! On the contrary, now is the time to look for experimentations and new directions in music, in general ! One has to look out for music in a passionate way, and there is reward out there for sure. As for the comparisons, I think it always was a matter of taste.The music I really like, will almost never be the music you really like. So I may think that Hallucinogen is the best, or that Filteria has the vibe, but what you think could be different.

Hey guys,anything is changing....so music does....
far from Goa-the brilliant mark of our scene-to the up-to-date full on(anyway what means full on?? which track is more full on? Paradise Connection-Portamento or GMS-Tweakers?).....our music was full on from the day it birthed...but then it had emotion...it was talking to us.....Respect to all old groups because they know the real psy vibe..and of course our ''new'' ones such Rinkadink,Polaris,Species...etc |

the emotion and the vibe in psy is gone for me.i look very hard but it almost never appears something with that strong essence i am looking for.
only in some other genres.this is a fact and it doesn't change.
good music is all that matters and is still produced in many genres.but i repeat that psy with the goa feeling is gone(at least for now) and let's face it and stop bullshitting ourselves with arguments like good releases are out there.(good releases are out there-but goa vibrating emotional releases are off schedule quite for a long time) |

For sure there is STILL something you like. Like myself. I am dissapointed, that's a fact, but every now and then I still find some gems here and there. What I do is collect them, and try to spread them. You wanna hear that Goa is dead ? Ok, Goa (trance) is dead. But trance my friend is very much alive.
I can tell you feel pissed off. But I always felt pissed off with this scene. I can remember the "karamouza-uplifting" thing, when I was trying to convince some people that this wasn't trance, and that trance was, I dunno, Orichalcum or Koxbox...
Now it's different, and one thing is for sure : In the future, we will be talking about how good it was for trance to be underground, and how crappy that Britney Spears Fullon remix sounds...

i am in this forum just for some news on parties that are in my interest.this means i want to support the scene and that i enjoy some stuff.
but the main thing is that it doesn't have to do with the music mostly but with the experience.i mean for example that,before some months i went to a party with electric universe and mwnn.well boris played pure bullshit and mwnn was very good.i will probably go to polytechnioupolh today,despite the fact that boris will probably play again awfully,just because i like the whole thing.
music in the psy scene is mostly gone for me.the only thing that interests me are the pre 2000 releases which i try to find thoroughly.
there are a few exceptions of today's releases but these are just exceptions.
i don't feel pissed off with this change in the whole thing.i have accepted it as i have accepted that the vibe is gone.
so here we get:trance is not gone(progressive has its moments nowadays) but goa trance and psy trance is almost gone. |

hey guys....don't be so dissapointed...we have passed so many good times at every party we went to the past....OK! let's face it...nowadays our music is so commercial that every month we have at least 30 new releases!!.....the point is why we buy all bullshit stuff and don't buy the good stuff?.....maybe the fault is in our hands |
