Ez man. One of the organizers could devote some time and make an old-skool party. They could book Filteria (http://www.filteria.com/), Ypsilon5 (http://www.tranceformrecords.com/ypsilon5.html), Ethereal (http://ethereal.trance.nu/) and we would have a blaster party full of old-skool craziness. Now how much these bookings would cost? More than Astrix or Skazi or GMS? Remember that the artists I mention are not big stars. They are upcoming artists who want to get more popular. So I would be very surprised if they charged their live or dj set anywhere near as the hot-shots.

But you know how business works, don't you?           --- open the doors and let the music flood in ---

I got what you're saying mate, but I just wanted to suggest something that, in my mind, is fairly easy to pull off.

its tough to do something like this in Greece, not many people care about the music. Still, its not impossible though, try to find a couple of friends with big vinyl/cd collections and talk to guys from PASP or DAP (either in your department or another one), they organise university parties all the time in various departments. If you are lucky you will find someones willing to have a nice goa trance party for a change.           --- open the doors and let the music flood in ---

I like goa trance a lot and I am still listen old school at home and I will never forget that tunes.Probably the most beautiful, powered and creative sound at history of electronic dance music.I think that a lot of people still listen that music at their homes.Respect.However I think it's pitty always playing new stuff against some epic and legendary music. As for production I don't know. The most artists on the scene are depend on their music economicaly and they trying to produce music that companies and people want. That's bad.I've seen a phenomeno like a lot of people that came in the scene the last years without evolving in goa trance, they said bad things about it because of melodies, the oriental culture matching goa trance with uplifting etc...
Anyway I would like to hear again at parties tracks like Psychedelic Terrorist from Total Eclipse,Why from MFG,MR Redeemer from Zodiac Youth,Panic in Paradise from X-dream and many more           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

I only listen to old goa trance, i have a large distance to the bad goa trance today, all artists make the same bad music that you can´t call psychedelic!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss the psychedelic synths and the great basslines, i hope the old psytrance come back in the future
