Great as well and whilst it can run circles around the SH-101 and you can automate its parameters via MIDI, record twice and have stereo parts with twice the VCOs, the Phatty sounds more modern than the SH-101. Very different VCF and the Phatty's VCO also sounds very different.
Having said that, I use the Phatty for goa leads day in/day out.
It is a wonderful, brilliant sounding, versatile and easy synth to use. Having that kind of analog sound and full MIDI implementation, is a godsend.
Peace out.

just made a pretty decent goa lead in Omnisphere.
used the 'basic 12db lowpass filter' (has a nice resonance) and the standard Sawsquare Fat oscillator.
turned on the Unison/Mult option at 0 with a teensy bit of detune, 30% depth, 100% spread with the 180degree out of phase setting for a wider sound.
automated cutoff with a Mod Envelope which I set on Auto chaos mode and an LFO modulating the cutoff in a certain range.
Then I went back to the Oscillator section and put a Random modulation on the Shape and Symmetry but restricting the Shape to the first 25% so it doesn't go too square. I also went into the modulation zoom and put the "smoothing" setting to the max for these. Kind of similar to a Sample+Glide modulation in the end.
Also enabled FM with 100% depth and frequency on the sine wave setting for a less bright sound.
Used phyrgian scale - some tasty goa sauce ensued.

I tend to use the S&H LFO waveform assigned to resonant VCF frequency and sometimes also assign it to the frequency of VCO2 when running it as a slave in sync patches. 1/16th LFO time, velocity to VCF cut-off, some stereo delay and there's your goa lead.
Something I could never do with the SH-101.
