Good to see people who still appreciate Goa for its beauty and for what it is, now-a-days most people are only interested in tracks that go rrRrrrRrrrRrrrRrrrRr for 7 mins and thats it. |

Ra's album brought tears to my eyes. Been so out of touch with emotional trance that this one just broke the gates. Another recently discovered gem was Khetzals album on Suntrip. Beautiful high-tempo Goa.

Interesting track, in fact I felt it was more like Tech Trance, especially with that heavy snare hit instead of a kick. To understand what I mean by tech-trance try...
Uberzone - Botz (Synthetik Mix)
Also try out some hard acid techo like A.S.Y.S. - Acid Flash, Acid from Past to Future or DJ Misjah vs DJ Tim - Access
You might want to remove those distorted guitars in the middle and add some acid notes. The first half was fine, but it got too techish in the second half. |

I didn't really like his California Sunshine project, Adrenlin Drum was okay. Haven't heard anything else.
Newskool Goa has a few good releases like Khetzal - Corelle, Ethereal - Animal Mundi,Goasia - From Other Spaces. OiG - Golden Vibes II, Ra - 9th,Filteria get good reviews but I haven't given them a proper listen. Mostly I find its just better production but not at the same level as oldskool goa. |
