Goa is a whole different scene now than it was a few years ago.......Alot depends on when you are thinking of going there.....
Goa isn't a place, it's a state of mind! |

It was better in Goa...
Now it´s full of russian gangsters, israelis with attitude problem and indian tourists that who wants to see naked girls.
But hey, the sun is shining, the food is good and the drugs are cheap!
So pack your bag and have a great time, but don´t expect too much from the parties now adays. |

was there just before NYE last year... was quite dissapointed, had planned to stay for NYE but left. Found it full of stuck up toruists and British Footy fans... all they doo is whinge about the conditions and the poverty, not taking in the culture and showing respect. I had planned to go to aparty for NYE, but it never came off, I eventually left India just after NYE and had a great time in Malaysia and Thailand...
I'm working with some friends to try and take the psy sound to Malaysia as it is a muslim country and Israeli passports cannot go in (I have no opinion on this it is not my country) but they love the psy sound so I think there could be an untapped market there |

it's a dumb reason... Malaysia is a Muslim country, so Israel passport is banned, just as a Malaysian passport can't go into Israel (politix again!!)... it's really sad because I have a lot of friends from Malaysia and they are very nice poeple... I just think it sucks that all the clubs I've gone to there play trance (Gatecrash) and Chillout (Cafe Del Mar) which is ok, but I think once they hear some pumping psy, deep proggy and nice ambient they'll realise what they are missing... great country and great people (if you like cheap electronic gear and clothes hehe)
end hijack of thread! |
