big hugs to all firstly:)
i bring this topic up cos i'm sure many of you have travelled to my little-big country at some point in time, especially goa, manali, and southern states.(shahar, yuli, grannie, hujaboy :)
so i'm keen to know what its like for foreigners to come here and have good experiences.
personally for me i have been to goa only twice, strange no? cos i live just 30 mins by plane. first time i went i was about 15 and those were the days of AP - Dancing galaxy and Simon posford and generally heavy psychedelic acidic lines at nite and warm melodic lines (mainly israeli) in the morning. Personally for me, in goa , it never matters who the DJ is , dancing under the stars is enough. The second time was goa millenium season which was one hell of a party and for me  the last string of great parties, (i guess i need to go back ..)
now many ppl dislike india cos of the hot weather, water etc, but i'd really like to know what you guys learnt from here. right now theres a big thing happening in casol, manali and ohm beach down south, a lot of foreigners mostly israelis have settled there, organising small and local raves.
a big misunderstanding is that many ppl think india is all trance and karahana everywhere. thats not true, but i must admit, its spread to many places besides goa - it just depends where the travellers move. yesterday surpsringly i was in my local recordstore and picked up Emuna for Rs 550 ($12USD) as i beleive Sony tied up with BNE and so we get occasionaly good israeli titles.
another misunderstanding, this time on our part, many ppl here beleive nitzonoth is 'the' israeli trance, eyal barkan 'goodmorning israel'is  still played in clubs here. well i try my best to show ppl the newer artits and different sounds out of the holyland(and trust me soul pitcher was a big hit!) For now the new 'big' thing is Skazi, its the mammoth kickdrums that does it for the ppl here, and the full-on style.
Anyways i can ramble like this for hours, but i just thought i'd let you know what goes on here. if any of you drop by here sometime contact me and i'll help you in any way i can.

love,peace, and freedom.

Hey Chaitu,
I was in India last november - february and I realy loved it.
I didn't get to travel there too much realy just came from Nepal - Varanasy - Jaipur - Pushkar and then off to Goa for the season.
I think most of the forigeners see India as a very shanty place and not only karahana - alot of people go there for medidation and all kind of spiritual courses, I found all the places I've been to in India -even Goa (not including anjuna/vagator) very relaxing - I think the vibe in your country coming from most of the locals is very peacfull - and it is something that for me was realy easy to get use to.
I LOVE INDIA - hope to get back there soon - to see all the amazing places in the north and rest for a while in paravaty valley...

Chaitu,

There is so much to say about India.. I haven't been there for three years now and the time is close to go back ;-) Your country is very special to me - it always put everything into proportion and automatically I get calmer and much happier he he
About partying.. Well there were times that ALL I did in India was to party but India is has much more to it. So I will get there in no time, no doubt! ;-)
In real life 'No Time' may take a while.. a year or so.. but hey ;-)
