I notice within goa heads there's a big difference between that,
some people love to go to goaparties, but really can't stand to listen goa in a normal week day and had enough until the next weekend,
with me it's the oppossite,
goa is more a 'home experience' when I'm alone,
to analyze, put in perspective, feel the drive...
like when I got to a goa festival that takes 3 days when I go home goa doensn't sound that good anymore,
I really don't like that situation...
If I stay a weekend at home, well not visiting a goa party,
@ monday I put on some goa on my mp3 player and all week long the vibes carresses my ear...
but that's not the case after a full 24u/24u festival,
what experience do you prefer ???
off course we like both,
I like hearing goa on a big sound system with some good live acts and dj's,
but at the end I have to admit I prefer not going out every weekend and listening to the goa I like motivated in my head before a party night overwhelmed with goa and ending with the feeling not having that motivation in my head for a couple a days anymore (sometimes a week or more)...
that's why I stayed home by the way this weekend ,
cause I have to create mix for an upcoming party so need that motivation in my head...
hope you understand me...
some won't and say I like goa on parties and it must never stop, on and on and on it never get bored...
well I'm glad for you, those are the super time enjoy it
peace

well it depends on the situation, people, surroundings , music .... which means that it can be anywhere...... you just have to grab it when it comes ;-)

Nah, Goa is a place where foreigners behave like hooligans. Indians too.

You're talking about the saturation effect. It occurs when you've heard too much of your favourite music. Remedy: discover other styles. Listen to some ambient (no psyambient) for example. Numina, Stephen Philips, Northaunt, Kammarheit, Pholde to name but a few. Works for me anyway.

Lucky you, that you still find goa trance in partys.
In Portugal it dosen't exist anymore. Live acts? Only local artists (lost buddha and Message to earth).
Anyway, what you need is to find what's best for you. And never, stress out.

How about:
Goa Entheogen Experience
======================
And you know the psychedelic party experience can *sometimes* be more important than the home experience. Because the tribe is involved, so it becomes an energy exchange/experiment between people, a comunal dance where you are forced to meet with all these different trippers from the scene at a deeper level. And the music can take then the energy of the whole, its a sharing of vibes ride through music.

I like music both at parties and at home.
Both have their benefits and drawbacks.
I would not want to settle for one or the other.

for me i'd say 'party experience'
coz ders so much goin on der
energy exchange, great surroundings - one wid nature feel , mingling wid frends, makin new frends, get to see da stars by nite and morning colors.
at home it's my space where i'd listen to ambient, jazz, soul, instrumental etc....... basically relazing music..... except wen derz ma energy levels r waiting to explode heheeheheehe dats wen da trance comes in
