it sure is, and it was pretty damn spectacular. not too loud when in front of it, but it travelled all the way down to the first entry gate at the bottom of the hill.
I was at my door shift down there listening to the wind blowing and the horses clomping around. This was during Arianne's set. Then a soft *thud-thud-thud-thud-thud* could be heard. ahhhh, gil has started!
From what the rumor mills are stating, that is only half of the system.

epic party!!!!! epic location epic sound epic gil set epic epic epic theme word of the party
gil kept us warm during the freezing nights with state-of-the-art funktion1 heating system!
played til at least midnight including a beautiful ending chill out set which in fact included one progressive trance track (believe it sisters).
arianne's set was kkkkiiilllleeeerrrr like i've never heard her play before... i was dancing the whole time.
extra karmageddon points for the crew, especially the parus twins who did ridiculous amounts of physical labor through out the party. by the way we had 1100 beautiful acres to explore on ian's incredible land-- thanks to ian and solaaaaar for pulling this one together. i really look forward to seeing what these guys do with that sound system (kill the rumors: there are six more tops and four more bass bins coming for the a total of 8 bass bins and 10 tops).
if yr into trance parties but you don't go to gil, something is wrong. this was by far the best party of the season!!!! |

hi all, Ian here.
wow, so great to hear all the amazing comments and experiences people had. also glad everybody enjoyed the funktion-one sound, it was the first time it was ever used and arrived on the truck a day before the party! Lets all do it again, in May! |
