Hey party ppl around the world.. any one seen Gil play recently, anywhere in the world? I have seen him play an US and in japan, both very different but very amaazing. I want hear hear what Gil parties are like in the rest of the world

he played new year's eve in athens, greece.
my comments will be rough: the music he plays recently is no good at all.. at least to me (maybe my taste has changed..)

I've seen him twice... last time was this summer and he was still amazing. The music he plays is not really my style, but you have to admit he can really tell a story thorugh his DJ set... although his mixing is not that good.
How am I supposed to hallucinate with all these swirling colors distracting me! |

well, practical there's no mixing at all cos he is playing pre-mixed DATs and he is just changing the DAT tapes...
about the story... hmm maybe he can tell a story to people on acid, but then again, anything can tell a story when you are on acid...

Goa Gill plays has been playing in Goa for the past couple of years on New years eve ... last year he played at Disco Valley - Goa ... but this year he didnt play... He comes down to India almost every year and has also played in bombay at a club called Fire n Ice |

A thing that i though it was really funny when I went to goa is that everyone would refer to him as "Gill" only, and not "Goa Gill" 
About his mixes...does he mix at all? I've been to 3 of his parties, and from my point of view he just puts one fader down at the other up, and thats it...done!hehe
Sometimes this mixes can be dangerous for your ears...the other times they are dangerous for your heart!lol
But I don't think his parties are about his dj skills...
All the parties where very diferent, but all had a very positive atmosphere and where a great experience i think this is whats a goa gill party is for me, a warantie of a party with nice atmosphere...
About the tunes selection, the last party was the worst, others where good, but sometimes he plays the same tune more than once in the same night, wich is not very good, but thats ok, with such long sets its understandable
Anyway, keep it going! I'll be there in the summer to see him play in portugal
