everybody makes mistakes while mixing, but to say that somebody is making mystakes in his 24 hour set is just stupid.
You are just a bunch of old jealous people to him, and try to find some stupid mystake he make and put it against him...
Again and again there are posts from people areound the wolrd who say that they had their best time on a goa gil party. Do you know why?
Because this is what he do, he knows which tracks are best for what time of the set, which track need to come after which one.
And his taste of music is changing all the time, but the quality of the music is always super psychedelic.
So this is why he is the best dj's in the psy scene for someone, and this is why we want to go to his parties and this is why the goa gil trance ritual is made holy.

Who gives a fuck about trainwrecks??? are you serious right now? If you're taking two songs that are good, and trainwrecking the fuck out of them - you are doing that music and the dancefloor a disservice. If you have been DJing for more than a year and you still train wreck more than once in a blue moon, you are terrible. Beatmatching isn't hard...so for people to defend someone's mixing skills who has been DJing for what, 2 decades??? is pretty ridiculous imo.
Taste is taste is taste. I've heard people tell me they've had amazing experiences at gil, psykovsky parties...sure. I've also heard plenty of people tell me its utter shit and it sounded the same for hours and hours inbetween train wrecked mixes - and honestly the only people I've heard tell me they had amazing experiences were darkpsy heads.
To my ears every single clip I've seen and heard has more than reinforced my complete lack of any desire to go to a show where an arrogant (in the sense that he won't share the stage) DJ who can't mix is blowing my ear drums up for 24 hours.
All the people on this thread were doing was expressing their taste - you are free to do the same but IMO you're being kind of silly saying people who don't like his taste or 'skills' are 'ignorant to the reality' or 'brainwashed'
The reality is that people have different tastes, and there is nothing wrong with that. We create our own realities. I personally tend to think that all the goa gil/psykovsky worship is more indicative of brainwashing than anything else If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

it prove nothing expect that I really dislike that kind of way too fast IMO non psychedelic dark "fuck my brain up" music and there's not one clip where he mix (ooups sorry - train wreck mix)!

Dear demoniac. The only one being a Kid here is you. Why? Because you have a very hard time accepting that what you find to be the most amazing DJ in the world and the most amazing music in the world is not a shared opinion by some of the other isratrance members (myself included).
You tell us to grow up. I tell you to accept that we do not think your kind of music is amazing or in any way psychedelic and that we find Goa Gil to be a very poor Dj.
