Here is a question: Since Goa Gils journeys are supposed to be spiritual what is the purpose of the obviously dark messages of the music he is playing lately?
a) is it because he wants bobmard and challenge the ego with dark messages so that the true self rises above it and conquers the fears? Sort of like the saying: "those who fear no truths, have nothing to fear from lies". The problem here, as somebody already pointed out, is these dark messages for some folks tripping out could actually cause damage as they have the potential to send them off spinning into a long term skizofrenic paranoia. So from that angle its far from your desired guide when really tripping.
B) Maybe it has nothing to do with challenging the ego, its all about having fun and Goa Gil just enjoys the dark music a lot these days. Its just what turns him on lately, a matter of personal taste, nothing more. And nothing to do with the all knowing Guru taking you in the one true and only spiritual and psychedelic journey.
c) The dark messages are real and intended to scare the shit out of you so you become a good boy.
d) Goa Gil is possesed by the devil
e) Because old Goa music was starting to sound very Gay.
f) Because there isn't to much real psychedelic music being produced these days so instead of playing old tracks over and over he plays the weird dark music because at least he thinks its a lot more psychedelic than the full on comercial stuff. However if he had some full on psychedelic stuff he might even play it over the dark.
g) He plays the abstract dark stuff because he loves to see everyones face thinking "WTF is going on"
h) Because he loves halloween
i) He is just exploring, evolving and having fun trying to find psychedelic enviroments. Maybe just like used to play shanti old Goa music in a few years he will be tired of playing the dark stuff and will have moved on to new ideas that capture his attention.
j) its all a meditation maaan, and dark and light are juste mere illusions keeping you in in duality and the world of maya

Fast....... veeeeery fast their musics.......
When I went to a partie with GOA GIL playing during 16 hours, I`m back to home with another things that I has when I arrived in the partie!
And about the full quality.... well... I don`t have nothing to complaint!!!!! It was the sound highest than I have heard...... nor festival or partie I have heard a sound like in GOA GIL partie. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! A-MA-ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was the best of the best party i ever went,
the vibe, the cleaning, the music, the colors!!! really got me !.
I just couldn't beleave that i was there .
It change my life!
I want to congratulate Yumkaax Productions for this excellent organization THANK YOU keep doing like that!
And also i want to tell that the ppl who went behave in all the meanning of the word PLUR. Thank you brothers and sisters, see ya in the next ritual dance!. |

jajajajajajaja 2 funny man!!!!! i actually began 2 think that yesterday!... then i got 2 the conclussion that HE is the devil!...
well as Serag said it was the best party ever!!! (again) lollollol... no 4 real it was a very very good party... in all aspects, the guys at the entrance were really nice, the guys checking the cars were also very nice, i didnt see any security guys, and all people behave like i havent seen in a very very long time....
As for the music... it was absolutely crazy, pure madness, pure darkness, pure trip!!!!!.
And i think that he is playing dark-trance
cuz dark-trance actually trips you in a very rare way, freaking full on just gets you to jump (in some cases of course, cuz the full-on thats been produced this days sucks sucks sucks sucks) without meditation at all... dark-trance (i have 2 addmit that not all of it) because of the elements that forms it has a lot more potential to induce you into some kinda deep trip, much more intelligent and meaningful than the full-on trip...
I have 2 say that it was indeed one of the most psychedelic xperiences in my whole life... 2 many emotions, 2 many thoughts going on, after the party i didnt know if i needed 2 cry, or 2 laugh, all i iknew, was that i was really really really!!! tripping... still!!!!! lol. And seeing the guy playing with his cassets was 2 funny!!!!!
i saw him like half an hour maybe, cuz every body was like all over him, (you know how the mexican people have a really bad problem with the worship of the dj ), and the way he danced! lol!, really nice xperience.
And i have 2 say that his mixin´ skills r impressive... after some funny changes i realized he does it on purpose, please next time listen what he does, and try 2 understand it. its awesome!!!!!
Watch out if yer country is on the upcoming gigs list cuz its gonna terminate you all.
Oh yeah, i almost forgot all i wanted 2 do when the party was over was tu hug and rub his belly!!!!!!!lollollol
