"Since the beginning of time, mankind has used music and dance to commune with the spirit of nature and the spirit of the universe. We are trying to use trance music and the trance dance experience to set off a chain reaction in consciousness. Through the trance dance experience, people will hopefully become more sensitive and aware of themselves and their surroundings. With this awareness comes understanding and compassion. ~~It Begins~~Drumming Invocation Saturday on the Equinox Sunset?.flowing into? Ariane's Ethno-Tribal Rhythms to open the channels. Then, Gil will accelerate the dancefloor with 24 hours of future sounds from around the planet earth and beyond!
Private & welcoming~ 40 min from Portland. The space is beautiful and accommodating and the owners love what we are doing. Sound will be the Vortex Turbosound system, one of the best the NorthWest has to offer. Directions will be posted at 503-768-4023 closer to the event.
Tickets are 15$ presale and 20$ at the gate. Purchase at Chance of Rain SE 32nd Ave & Hawthorne, or pay securely online via paypal. Email a ticket purchase request to goagilnw@gmail.com Paypal can be requested until Sept.20.
****Presale tickets**** if you buy a presale ticket you will also be getting a sticker and a cd. The cd is compiled of all original music, from local and non-local artists, and will feature some beautiful downtempo and some screaming psytrance. This is great incentive to support the Goa Gil event by getting your tickets early, everything we get is going to make this event better.
This, of course, is a leave no trace event... please respect the earth and the people who are helping to make this gathering a reality, and most of all, respect yourselves.
There will be original Artwork and live painting. Visuals by Dreamer. Hyperdrive XLR8R by the Omega crew, and much more.
There will be an amazing community kitchen featuring some of the best food and chai you have ever had.
