i am planning a trip to goa in july...probably that wud be in the last week or in 1st week of august...would that be a good time to be there...let me make it clear that m not goin there for shanti...looking for some parties... what wud u suggest ? manali , mcleodgunj or goa ? tx in advance

I have just returned from a 6 day trip from goa... it was the 1st time i have gone to goa during this time of the year (aug), usually i go in Nov, Dec, Jan or Feb, but never been in august.
I was extreamly thrilled to be in goa, the feel is different this time of the year, i was in south goa (benaulim, Palolem) for 2 days, and balance in north (Anjuna)
I have never seen anjuna so quite, except shore bar and curlies no other shack was open, there was a small gathering every evening at curlies, with good chillout music and the tempo rising up after 9 pm to 130 am.
It seems goa was waking up, and i was there to sense it. a sleepy goa jus about to wake up is extremly beautiful, specially with the rains everythings fresh and colourful, and obviously calm.
I wud definately go to goa at this time of the year again in the future, and again during the real season to party in goa at its peak.
Thanks Goa, you are beautiful.
PS: Hot Lesbians making out at Anjuna was a treat to watch

I alwys go thr during June, July and August all in different years and Yeah it is different at this time of the year. Yup only Curlies is wht is open at Anjuna. But the only screw up is you get really soaked every time you step out somewhr and it is really pourin down. I stayed at Anjuna and it is fuckin dark out thr really sacry. But then whn u go season time the place just lights up and hell lot of places open. But then Goa Rocks.

Well it wasnt pouring this time... maybe poor monsoons, though aug end i think rains subdue.
