i guess the massive police presence is not about drugs and parties, its more because of security reasons
also a few days ago the in the news here in israel they said that the israeli goverment recomend people to not travel to india at all this season, and a special warning about goa
too bad that this is the situation... |

well ive heard this fresh... need someone who is in goa, or jus returned to confirm this...
most of north goa is shut due to terror alert , crowd is very less, shacks are shut, parties are not happening.... at baga, calangute, candolim, not sure about anjua, vagator etc....

well either way im heading there to swim and get sunburnt (literally not the festival) and eat some bajjjao food... and get drunk on the feni... fingers crossed! less crowd is good 
jan 1st week is best time!

See you guys there! .. i have this feeling that things are gonna pick up as we get close NYE. Anyways I ve heard confirmed reports that 9 bar is on everyday albeit till 10. Thats nothing new It's always closed at 10. I am sure Primrose will have music going.. Keeping my fingers crossed for The Hilltop party.

I will be in Goa for my first time around christmas for 1 week.
I've heard shit about big night clubs and expensive entrance fees, this is not what i'm after. Can anyone tell me where to go for the real psy scene? Small outdoor parties etc?
Also where can I find cheapest accomodation during this period?
Really need to know which beach to head to, please help...!
