just came back from goa...
It was a gud treat for myself...
i agree goa is not the same as before but it is not worse as exaggerated here by few...
 parties....hilltop is still on at weekends....
It was one of ma best trip to goa so far...

The current situation does not really support the scene that it was earlier or even as near as in 2007.What do you guys think Goa would be like in 2009? Can something be done to save it?

In Goa rite now. Not many people around. There was a party yesterday at West end.... with Nirmal and some other djs..... Music was good only in bits and pieces.... party was on till 6am... but we moved out at around 2ish.... coz after they moved it inside ... the music just sucked! Pretty much a chill scene here rite now..... and yea..... its really hot!

i went back yo goa this season, chapora, I wasn't dissapointed as I knew the trance scence has been on a steady decline for about 6 years, i went in 98 and 2001 for a long stay, and yes it is not the place it was back then, the scence is dead period. Ok its still a nice place sort of. apart form all the filthy beaches .sun loungers. two week package tourists,beach hawkers everywhere, money money money, i was there a week before departing to Arambol, which althoug many shops now still has much of the same charm it had 10 years ago
DOnt think i'll ever go back vagator/chapora now, for me its too sad, as the place has lost is good vibrations.
Im in riskikesh and heading to hiumal pradesg soon, praying to shiva for some good parties as I been making a killer ableton dj set!!!!!
Lets hope the murder case. gets sorted out'/i was there at the worst possible time. april.
everything shut at 11pm and chapora feel like a open prision yes////////

was there in mid-april, very good parties in west-end and on Sunday at hilltop...
Friends said that the party season was coming to its end in Late april but who knows whats happening there
Hopefully 08-09 will be great for Goa!! |
