@ all.. i donno y pple r saying tht there is no scene in goa.. i can say yes the parties r not happenin in shiva valley & other open parties .. i mean freee ones.. yeah but for sure parties r happening at westend & hill top.. wid gr8 line ups.. some dj's & few artist too.. keep your ears open.. party in first week of april at westend.. wid few dark artist & other good dj's too..

I guess if you re looking for a 60s expeirence well you re gonna be dispointed. Its not the 60s any more well news its not the 90s anymore either. But Goa does have electronic music everyday at 9 bar with some top Djs for free, Hilltop booms to some killer twilight sessions once in a way! So its how you look at it and if you can have fun. Goa is sure fun everytime i ve gone there.
It rather unfortunate that the Scarlett incident took place but then no beach is really 'Safe' for a 15 year old unescorted girl at 3 am in the morning unless her daddy owns it.
Moral of the story - Goa does not belong to any of our Dads respect that fact and everything is fine

@ acidisgod...my point xactly...it was a terrible thing 2 happen...thnx 2 it da whole "ugly side" of goa was xposed nd its made chillin out at beaches unsafe (cops scene nd all)...all da places r closing by 11. nd da pigs r crashing places nd rounding up ppl like every1 is a dealer or buyer...all in all..scene is pretty bad.WATCH OUT ND B CAREFUL

Forget abt goa for next couple of years.
There is nothing much to look forward , especially if people are looking for parties..
And morjim wont be mini moscow for long , things are getting shifted from there as well .
As everyone , who's who is landing up over there .... hehe , and russian mafia doesn't like that....
or u can visit the place by urselves and find out : ) ..
There are major plans by goa police to crackdown on certain issues in that part of the state as well , so be carefull.
Expect them ( the russians )to be some light years ahead , when it comes to the progression of this scene ; )
Just go with an open mind.... that would be the best way to go rather than goin with loys of expectations ... its when ur open minded , u'll have the best of times and possibly a super party as well

thanks jassi for all the info 
i am going for some peace time so not keen on partying....i can live without it for a while and mumbai parties are ok for a small dose right now....
i do sound like grapes are sour but seriously just want to enjoy the calmness and the sound of waves n air and the smell of goa....
