Yo
Does anybody know the original (first) track name of "GMS vs Tortured Brain - Decibal" ?
Im absolutely sure they have stollen samples, melodies from some other classic Goa Trance track.
Check it out dudes, time around...5:50-6:25
Its very characteristic !

ok, CD is out... i heard the track and i agree that the melody is taken from something old... sounds like a U96 track if my beaten up memory serves me right.
i wouldnt call it thievery as just about everyone rmxs something today with no permission what so ever from the original.

Well, now i think its something very similar to Power Source or Astral Projection style.
Check out track "Aualine Spirit" by AP. It sound almost same like the samples....but its the "nn" track im thinking about. |

Wouldnt be the first time GMS have stolen (yes that is right stolen) a melody without mentioning it anywhere!! eg 'Juice by GMS' and 'Gladiator'
Not even on the cd cover?

GMS won theyr respect with musics like juice, star wars, Addams fammily... This is all very good tracks and its a very good idea for me.. About taking from others music instead movies or whatever is another situation.... But i respect them enough to not call them thiefs.
Like Zatala said more respect.
what would be trance scene without GMS?
They are unique about what they do and you can value all the music without thinking about that sample or whatever..
Think about other well known artis that put samples taken from synths without any change from the original preset. at the beggining is not a big deal buut when you hear the same sample taken from absynth in a Space Cat track, Astrix, Cosma, Wizzy noise, Logic Bomb etc, i think its the same attitude and i DONT concider thievery...
Its just my humble opinion..
