I would like to have a review from someone as well.

Merlin, thats not what i heard around...i heard it was a shitty party, dirty and guided by that old formula "fuck-the-ppl + expensive fees = profit"

But anyway, i can't express opinions once i wasn't there.

Anybody?

Well, the party was absolutely packed, I've never seen anything quite like it, i mean it, it was like beeing in the midlle of the Pacaembu.

GMS played their music...each of you take your conclusions...

Dmitri Nakov was as usual fantastic, there's not much to say about him.

Bansi played a lot of his music too (wich IMO there was nothing better for that crowd)

Du Serena played great music as well, a whole bunch of new tunes and kept lots of ppl dancing till the end.

When the sound was turned off, about 12:30 there sitill was about 500 ppl on the party, about half of them on the dance floor.

About 90% of the crowd didn't look like ppl who are used to raves, but i'm sure that lot's of them are now becoming big psytrance fans. Ppl there realy looked to be enjoying themselves.

Something I forgot: Riktam did not show up, in his place was Shanti, I don't know if he played a DJ set as well, but it was him in the Live PA

Different people = different opinions

I didn't think it was that bad. Of course there has been better parties around.

I do agree with what some of what you both said. But you know, it can't always be perfect.

Merlin friend,

"Different people = different opinions" --> Thank God! That is what makes the human race develop....i guess...

"I do agree with what some of what you both said. But you know, it can't always be perfect." -->Yes it can! At least that should be IMO the organizers' phylosophy, don't you think? Bcz in this case it all starts upside down: he thinks about how much he wants to make, biuld costs as lower as it can be, and then prices the fees.

Thats pure capitalism, dude. Ok, i'm not criticizing the economic system, i'm criticizing its usage at some kind of art: psytrance!

IMO profit should be a (good) consequence, not the point of start of the party building.

And besides ppl with thoughts like yours causes parties "not so good, but ok" like that one. ?

Let moderators moderate folks.

Back to the topic: anyone knows how many ppl actually were there?
and who was behind the party?           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

I just wanna say that i travelled some 500km to go to São Paulo to see this party and I can tell u it sucked big time, dude...
The place was packed full (smt like 3000 ppl or more), u couldn't even dance! I think they made it toooooo commercial, there was NO deco, nothing, only 2 black lights on the whole club...
Also lots of ppl who went where really strange, I'm sure they weren't used to parties like that...
To resume: they made the party ONLY to earn money, and that's BAD... I think all the ppl who went there to enjoy the sound, like me, and not to took XTC's or anything else, have bad things to say about this party, and great things about the music, coz the live act and Nakov were really great... About the others, I can't say...

Hope this organizers do something better next time... that's my review...
