According to the first couple of posts, I got worried, people were actaully awaiting and expecting something good to come out of that album. then someone restore my faith in people with a normal taste in music.
anyways, no. it's not gonna be inventive, it's not gonna be original, it's not gonna be interesting. it's not gonna be anything close to good. you all know this. don't really know why people actually think it's gonna be decent or interesting. |

hello everybody seth from spun here... havent been on the forum in a while and just want everyone to know dont listen to the gms bashers the new album is going to be a scorcher filled with all different twist and turns vocal trax ..150 bpms.... banging psychedelic and a few morning groovers if your as upset as i am with the current state of trance have a listen i havent taken it out of my car all week hope you enjoy and watch out for the revamped spun sound going to be a bit harder and more blasting again lets get back to the days when it was about the music and how it affected our trip hope you enjoy and keep blasting all the best to everyone everywhere sethspun |

seems that HandA really is one of the leaders in this "I hate this formulatic all the time repeating 150 bpm full on music" club. But tell me...why should every release be groundbreaking and something completle new? Perhaps some ppl say from ur music aswell: "oh not again this experimental stuff with hundrets of swishes and swoshes we heard allready back in '96". Who are you to judge what is so called "innovative" music and what is not...this whole thing is so subjectiv and all about taste...and only because you dont like it, it doesnt meen its bad. You really use every chance to say something bad about all this full on stuff in the style of spun etc...why? i dont see the point..its all about taste..
i dont wanna turn this tread now in a disscusion about this..its about gms new album...and i wait for it unpassiontly...even it will perhaps sound like something allready heard...
no personal offence HandA...but i just wondering why you have to bash non stop...just leave the stuff you dont like..no? It seems sometimes to me just like a trend to bash about GMS...and i think thats something for kids...

i really dont understand something!!! first they called them Pioneers of trance.....when they became famous they were marked as fluffy.....now after so many years of groundbreaking production,style and techniques y'all call em boring, "already heard"!!! can u tell me wat in the psy scene today is not "already heard " stuff????
if u dont like em dont listen to em...thats all.....they will always be among the greats in psy music history!!! good luck GMS with ur new album!!!

Well maybe it won;t be ground breaking, maybe it will be some standard full on, maybe it will sound like a lot of other GMS releases, but I have loved every GMS relase from the 90's until now, and I"m ure this will be just as awesome... most full on I never buy, but GMS always is worth the money. so thanks to the GMS crew, looking forward to this trip and hope to see you in Australia sometime soon, missed you both as 1200 Mics and GMS last time  |
