Global Psychedelic Trance Vol. VIII

Continually exhibiting the cutting edge of psychedelic trance, Spirit Zone Recordings' ultimate compilation series continues in its eigth edition. As always trance and ambient tracks, carefully selected by label founder DJ Antaro, find their place on two discs, covering an end to end cross section of the genre's listening and dance music developments. The 8th dance disk is packed with sonic sorcery from the full-on sector. Aural intoxication is induced by the likes of Talamasca "Sage Incense", GMS "At the End of a Rainbow" - featured on the forthcoming album or Spirallianz's canny "A Fugitive", previously only on vinyl. Space Tribe´s hit track "Kickin' up some Dust" from the "Shapeshifter" album is remixed to new levels and Electric Universe soars higher with "Embrace It". Rounding of this dance selection, Double Dragon"Cabin Fever", Noosphere"Captain Proton" and Bamboo Forest's "Friends" event out the peaks with some grooving psy kicks for the morning hours. Assorted sounds on the chill disk by regulars Grey Area and Alien Mutaion are joined by several new names, bringing together a gratifying impression of ambient music. Beautiful ambience by Sebastian Mullaert's Ooze project "Meeting with strange species"; Bloatsucher's "Trip to the Bottom" and Jens Buchert's "Down Again" round off another global perspective on ambient and modern chill beats. Being an established marker reflecting trance producer's musical going ons, the critically acclaimed Global Psychedelic Trance compilations serve as a wellbalanced representation of current psychedelic dance rhythms and ambient chill out sounds. Dedicated audiences have come to recognise this compilation series' outstanding quality, making Global Psychedlic Trance Volume 8 another favourite amongst its kind.
