Here is a question that goes out to those who have seen trance scenes in different parts of the world.
How different are local trance cultures from eachother (in terms of values, vibes, personalities that are attracted to the scene)? Are they in general more similar to the global trance culture (other trance scenes you have seen), or to the culture of the area where they are located?
They point of this question is try and figure out the degree to which trance has formed a global culture/community, or is it more like many small communities in different parts of the world that all follow the same type of music.
Does this make sense to anyone?

In my opinion, at least in the past, psy trancers used to represent somewhat similar people with similar values and attitudes everywhere (shouldn't generalize, but that's the whole point of this thread, isn't it?). Nowadays, maybe Israel is a bit of exception since psy is nearly main stream over there, but still, the people who are really into psy in Israel are again somewhat similar to psy people in other parts of the world. Correct me if I'm wrong...
