We all love it, but most of us have different ideas about what glitching is or should be.

I just thought that this would be an interesting topic.

to share new ideas and techniques?styles in which to achieve the best glitches:)

so post your ideas, if you're willing to share them.

P.S. ne1 tried the Arc.Dev.Blttr?
a very nice glitch fx vst.

I'd like to use 'm a lot but they take too much of my Cpu power.

Maybe it would also be interesting to post how to manually make nice glitch effects.

Too much glitching is a pain in the ass... god damn cosmo-music

export the part of the track that you want to glitch to audio file, wav,mp3etc.
import it back in and delete the rest of the track that is now imported into the audio file.
Supposing that you use cubase?
use the scissors to cut the audio file into hundreds of little pieces and arrange and copy to ur liking:)
it actually take less CPU than playin the track normally coz its and audio track.

ok

one better

export the audio piece

cut, it and REX it, load it into REX player in reason, and apply FX to it

Record to audio...cut up again and reorder

back into REX and apply FX, record to audio

and import into cubase and use the Glitch VST

that should get you to a pretty fucked up place
