hey all, im currently on the hunt for stuff with glitched out beats, innovative sound design and emotive melodic content. some idm stuff gets a little *too* experimental for my western trained musical ear , so things that are too non-linear get a bit abstract for me.
Here's what im currently diggin:
edIT - Crying Over Pros For No Reason (<- EXACTLY this style! the whole album is just mindblowing!)
pretty much anything by Telefon Tel Aviv (except the cheesey vocal stuff), and of course Shulman - In Search Of A Meaningful Moment
Tom Burbank - Tha Chop (from Famous First Words album)
BT - 1.618 (from This Binary Universe)
Tipper - Whomi (and a whole bunch of other older tracks, but this one in particular)
Boxcutter - Silver Birch Solstice (plus a few more tracks from the Oneiric album)
Mr Projectile - You Need and Resistance is Furtile from the Sinking album,.. actually the whole album is quite amazing
Tycho - Past is Prologue,.... not so glitchy,... but musically stunning,.. great album too
also diggin some Lusine, Proem and been told to check out Quench/Funkarma
so,... any suggestions? either albums, or single tracks
many thanks!

Yeah, that is really nice, specially the songs where there is a woman singing. |

if you like boxcutter, you might dig burial or some of the other dubstep stuff (vex'd, mathhead and drop the lime pop to mind on the glitchier end)
most of the releases on the dutch(?) label sending orbs are quite nice...especially recommend secede - tryshasla
you might also dig kelpe, telephone jim jesus, and the new clark release on warp (used to be chris clark iirc)
