Gliding between notes in cubase using an external synth

Im using a virus indigo redback.
How do u guys do it?.......what i do is i use the pitchbend which is really anoying since it has to be precise.
for some reason i cant find a way to glide between note to note only if i play the notes by myself on the virus.
what shuold i do? |

you need to select "portamento" on your virus.
you gotta use solo mode (not polyphonic).
the notes on the sequencer have to continue each other.

i "think" u can choose the ammount of portamento to, tweak for youre own taste =)

If you use portamento in a monophonic mode the glide between notes is much more predicatable than if you are playing chords.
If you're using a monophonic or solo mode, try making sure the notes overlap each other, ie. one note finishes AFTER the next note starts. |
