by automating portamento... Turn it wide open right after the start of the note u want to glide (1/64th after it is good enough), don't do it at the exact moment ur sequencer sends the note-on or it will go wrong... and close it gradually untill u are at the end of the note u want the glide to end at (That note can start as soon as 1/32nd after the first note, because portamento will be completely open at that point it will immediately start gliding slowly from the first note to the next)... If u want to glide again from that second note to the next note u have to reopen portamento say 1/64th before the end of the first glide (so the end of the second note). And ofcourse close it gradually again untill ur at the end of the third note... Etc...

Thanks but I can't find it in Cubase, the portamento or glide option.

It's a function of the individual instruments, not in Cubase.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

In acid 6 you have how to automate that inside it, I believe cubase should have that feature as well.
I'm trying to glide a sample in Kontakt, but acid is not doing for some reason...

no, cubase can't do that... Acid does that because it has a lot of features that u find in samplers... Since cubase is a pure sequencer it doesn't do that... if u load a sampler VSTi or DXi in cubase, and if that sampler can do what u want to do, u can automate that sampler with cubase without a problem, but cubase can't do it by itself. A lot of sequencers do, like ableton, fruity, acid,... But the pure sequencers like logic, cubase, rosegarden don't...

if u try to glide a sample in kontakt u have to automate kontakts portamento, not the portamento of acid...
