Hello, i'm posting this after spending some hours playing with different soft synths and their glide knobs...
However i've found that i don't like most of the synths glide sound... after playing with Toxic i didn't find any synth with this kind of super precise portamento that will stretch the notes smoothly and tightly without sounding detuned if tweaked right.
I tested discovery, albino, predator, cronox, and sum others just by setting one saw osc, filter env and glide / a bit of portamento just to make it slide but none sounded like Toxic... maybe one that came pretty close was Thor @ Reason4.
I post this because this specific glide sound reminds me of many hitech artists, those agressive legato leads used in dark - hitech tracks nowadays, what i want to know is Toxic the only way to get this sound or do you know any other synths with this nice effect on the gliding capabilities?

toxic bio is a littlebit strange imo, its sounds are very special.
if anyone uses normal sawtooth in a track with biohazard, you can hear that its biohazard.
people say that its crap, like this user:

toxic isnt really good. actually, its one of worst vsti's i ever tested.
not that i dont lie how it orks and the possibilities, those are actuallyquite good, but what ruins it all is the etreme alliased audio it prouces

also with a little glide turned on.
Can you notice how Discovery just plays the high pitched tones while Toxic really slides ?
That's what i meant.
My notes are placed something like this:
C3 _
C4 ______
In a way i know this can be achieved by micro pitch bend automation or pitch envelopes but i find a lot easier to throw notes in pianoroll... so again i'm asking for synths with similar glide.
