Anyone at Glastonbury....??
Mud, mud, mud and then SUN.......brilliant, right ?

Just got back myself from GLASTO and had soooo much fun on all levels and my personal favourite DJ rocked, not one or two but four stages, with a memorable closing set on the Roots stage on Friday night and then a two hour set that became a 6hour set on the Glade stage from 6.30pm to 12.30am after the Sancho Panza crew on Saturday evening/night. Very different, entertaining and groovy dance set that had us all [a few thousand jumping around] loving him.

Talk about reading and playing with the crowd, and loving
every minute. So, thanks to Pathaan and all the other acts, performers, Djs, bands and the 100,000 + crowd.

Oh and don't forget about Pathaan's new double mix cd, 'Universal Sunset' out now !

See www.pathaan.com for more info.

Yours Sophia

Yes, yes, yes !!!

I was there and loved the whole experience.
It was my first time and so the MUD freaked me OUT, but once I got over it, I met so many lovely people and saw many acts.

But it must be said, Pathaan rocked the Glade stage, no doubt !!! Definitely made up for the mud and my Saturday night.........

Oh, and UNIVERSAL SUNSET , let alone the series is essential for everyone on this forum.

Glastonbury was great!
The thunderstorm was so powerful! Thankfully we camped up on a hill so our tents didn't get washed away by the floods like some of those further down. It was absolute chaos down there; I do hope everyone was OK

Strangely enough I didn't really get to see much music this year. I missed most of Psychedelic Sunday as I spent most of my time wandering around absorbing the sights and sounds as they happened around me, finding myself randomly drawn into little tents here and there.

I did catch the Shpongle set, which was utterly bizarre to say the least, but also lots of fun. Had a crazy dance with some little old hippy woman who was getting really into it - arms and hair all over the place. There was something quite theraputic in stomping through 'Periscopes' while covered in mud!

The HID set was gorgeous. Nice to see a bit of live action there people
As with both previous Ott gigs I've attended, I hogged the nearest monitor and relished the way those pads reach out and engulf you; it's like having a hug with the sound. And then the bass kicks in and your arse is awayyyyyyyyyyy....! Definitely the highlight of my festival...and I even had sexy boy ask for my number afterwards so cheers for that hahhaa X

Other acts I managed to catch included Royksopp, Baka Beyond and Eat Static, all of which were really good. Would like to have seen Tristan, Son Kite, Pathaan and Suns Of Arqa but 'twas not meant to be this time - too much energy spent smoking, drumming, seeking thali and drinking chai in the Healing Fields. Turning me into a lazy hippy!

My favourite Glasto 2005 moment came after a long hike up Pennards Hill to get to my tent. I sparked up a smoke and, turning around, saw a big red sun melt into the horizon. Stunning 3;~

Peace X

Very true - its on from 15-17 July in Berkshire with 9 music areas including two psy trance stages (Hallucinogen, Protoculture, Joti Sidhu, Tristan & many more) plus the ID Spiral chill out with Tripswitch, Gaudi, Solar Quest etc etc Last years was one of the best festivals I've ever been to...

That's always the sign of a good Glastonbury when you've had the time of your life but you can't actually say you saw many acts...you just kind of take in the whole expierience !!!!

BillieSophia are you Pathaans publicity agent or something ?

I'd imagine Cosmo is like me - been a lot to Glastonbury - but not since the big wall went up (actually I went in 2002 the first year the wall went up as my Brother was playing - so got in for nowt).

Although Glastonbury has changed a lot - Im sure its still the greatest show on earth...
