I just got this message that said the VST I just installed is illegal and that I am blacklisted from Tone2 products until I provide proof of purchase.
Are there legal implications here?? Do I have to buy the software? I didn't even like it that much.
What do you guys think??

i dont think you should worry, but next time if you use a cracked app then block its access to the internet so it wont call home. |

Use a firewall and do not let illegal apps access the internet eheh >:))
Some released serial numbers are already blacklisted and cannot be used.
If you insert one of them, you are automatically blacklisted. Sometimes it blocks the install on that machine...
Some apps record and send a report with the IP address and machine name.
But I don't think they can do much with that...
So the best is to avoid piracy and use Free stuff!

I wasn't going to lock it but now it's becoming too close to the forum guidelines.
Locked, I hope you got your answer Obelizk.
