yes, once again mr. bill laswell has produced
an incredible album!
gigi, a young singer from ethiopia is backed
up by musical giants such as bill laswell himself, herbie hancock, pharaoah sanders,
wayne shorter, karsh kale etc. to give us
the pleasure of listening to a wonderful and
skilful fusion of traditional ethiopan singing, funk, dub and soul spiced up with
west african and indian elements. i'd say this is a must for anyone who enjoys high quality music!
