The debut album by San Francisco-based producer Ghreg On Earth.
Sigil Weaver is a mysterious and ominous themed mythical journey captured in dark, psychedelic trance, taking the dancefloor and the listener on a quantum leap into the future of sound and beyond.
Be transported to a realm of ancient technologies where cavernous and undulating soundscapes wrap themselves around razor-edged waveforms; lifting the dancefloor and the dancer into the night sky.
Explore new realms as glitchy, rhythmic shadows surface and form upon rich cinematic undercurrents, condensing into psychedelic bursts of sonic combustion.
Surrender , as spiraling threads of unorthodox arrangements emerge from power noise atmospheres, revealing unique trance formations and aural horizons as yet unexplored.

Um, am I missing something here? Ghreg on Earth is from San Francisco. Why do I have to order his cd from EUROPE??!? (for 11.50 + 8.85 shipping...in EUROS!!!)
Can we get it directly from him or from MoE or what?!?

The album is not released on an American label. Is is being released by Wirikuta records, which is an Austrian label. That is why you have to order the cd from Europe. Now if we had US distribution, which is happening really soon, or if there were some US based shops, then you could definitely avoid some of those shipping fees. Don't feel bad, I have to order all of my stuff out of country too. Untill the national scene picks up a bit more steam and becomes self sustaining, we're gonna have to import our music, even if it is from national artists.

psyshop sells it slightly cheaper

Nice work Ghreg..and this is from someone who is not all that into dark psytrance. I've been listening to the sample tracks on Saikosounds and I enjoy how much more quality in terms of production and depth there is in your work compared to alot of the dark psy out there. No stupid sped up elf voices or horror movie scream gimmicks, just dark, deep and powerful tunes. |
