Umm interesting.
Why did Tsunami Devil change her name to Satori Angel? What does Satori Angel mean?
Anyways, she is one of my favourite progressive DJs. With only her and Clem on the first floor I guess we can expect a really long set from her?

talked to sarah last night......apparently "satori" is some kind of awakened shaman in japanese shinto mythology.
and to answer your other question ken, she'll be be playing from 2-4:00 and getting some support from some others as well as clem. |

"Satori" is basically "enlightment" and is used a lot in Buddhism circles (especially Zen circles). Never heard it used in a Shinto context although its entirely possible as I don't think it has any particular attachment to any one belief system and it gets tossed around in various cultural arts as well (martial arts, etc).

I heard you guys might be doing the Hakuba Snow Resort party like last year. Let me know, I'll be there for sure!!! A little snowboarding / skiing / onsen and a psychedelic party at night sounds wonderful!!! Especially with all the psyfreaks staying at the same hotel!!!

Yeah that was a lot of fun!! thanks to everyone who helped out and provided all the big smiles and bouncing bodies on the dance floor!!
the hakuba "Demented Kamoshika" party is gonna happen sometime in January......we will have the dates and venues sorted out soon, so will make a post then......3 days of blissed out psy-heads in the snowy mountains.....ahhhhhhhh!! |
