Hi,
Do anyone know how to get that 'ghostly FX' they do in the movies where the voice kinda slowly come in before the voice.. U know?
i cant figure it out |

I have no idea however something similar might be possible, this is what i might try..
i don't know how they do it in the movies, however maybe you could have a recorded sample of the voice you want in 5 or six different channels. Put them where you want them in the track. then move in close and offset each channel by 16th notes or smaller, in sequencial order backwards from the point you want the sample to play. Each one should be made quieter than the last in incraments. the farthest back being the quitest and the Main one which is on time to be the loudest. Kinda a stupid way to get to it but it might be what you want. I don't know... |

I cant find any examples,, but its a popular effect. could be the predelay but it sweeps in.. "" i'll look into the reverse delay" thx

Im looking for some good example. going through old SIMPSONS episodes. there is one in particular where Homer is stuck in another dimension then he speaks with this voice and say "I'm somplace where I don't know where I am" .. I'll find it record it and post the sample.wav |
