My friend, Mr. Dan Brown made a Ghost Buster costume much like this one. Here is a few pictures of the construction (you may have to copy and past it to make it work). http://www.geocities.com/jedimaster_007_db/
It is complete with working lights and everything. I'd say he put about $300 US into it. If you look at some of the parts you can see stuff that you can find around your house like old printer "rainbow" wires, white out tubes, bottle caps, and other things. The expensive parts are the flight suite and the army style backpack. The rest you can just find at your hardware store. Dan is proud of his work, he should be. He also completed a Star Gate SG-1 costume and is working on a Jedi costume. He has completed many light sabers. Also, i forgot to tell you he had his senior pictures (pics that show up in your school year book) taken in his costume.
I cant believe how much these people are making off of this. It costs 300 to make it and its already up to 2,000. |
