Hi all, hope someone can help me with advice on how to get a specific bass sound.

Looking for that hard sound on tracks like the ones below:

Hiyarant - For the blind

Rubix Qube vs Xatrik - Konan the barbarian

Poizon - Help me

What VST or VSTs would I use, what effects etc.? I know there are loads of topics about bass and bass VSTs on here, but I'm looking to get that particular sound like in the tracks above. Unless I've missed something, I can't find anything about that. I'm using Cubase 5.

Any help would be very appreciated

You mean the darkpsy bassline topic? i saw that, but darkpsy basslines usually end up being quite high, i want something lower and deeper.

thanks for the input thought, will check that thread out and see if it gives me the sound i want

cronox2 or trilogy i think is the most used vst for this specific style of psytrance bass.
