ha,ha y! a word of a stoner ! ok a joint might help ? but to much your hearing will be diverent and as you know stoners brain is so relax that sometimes you loose concentration ! everybody react diverent on weed or hash ! but don't think that this will be your solution ! meditate before your make a track and blessed with love and ask for what you want from the track ! that's gonna be the biggest blessing ! reward yourselve with a good rolled one after you make 20 % of your track ! don't forget ! you are the creator not the weed ! |

Making music is my meditation.
I don't worry about the end result, I just let go and enjoy the ride.
I don't worry about getting a perfect mixdown, I just enjoy programming synths and listening to the patches.
I haven't had issues getting mixes I like when stoned, some times I do get things done faster when I am straight, but there is no rush, my favourite part about making a track, is the process of making it, not listening to the final result.

i also like the process of making music, some how after 5 minutes of the track arrangement i can not get creative. all the tracks i have made so far.. sounds good up untill 5mins then after that it just sounds like looping..
may be after 5 minutes i think more on finishing the track more than making it. |

Besides beeing too lazy I think it helps more than not. Only when I am learning new stuff(watching tuts or reading books) I feel that I could do better without

I generally find that I can pick out things that are "wrong" with my track better when I am high, so usually I take whatever number of tracks I am working on, put the .wavs on some portable device, roll one, and then go for a walk and take notes on my stuff. Then the next day or whatever, I focus on improving those spots where I noticed things weren't quite "right".

i agree with most that has been said here..
can help with inspiration and i love making sounds when high, but i get lost in the details and end up listening a whole night to 16bars. 
Still fun, but would really like to finnish a track, think i need to try it sober.

when making sometimes yes sometimes no, depends on the smoke too. generally this life we are put to live these days is way better with some weed |
