I just got cubase and i am having lot of trouble understanding how to use. (as i am new to the whole music making business!)I am one very confused person who is dying to understand how it all works so i can start to make someo music!

I am familiar with logic, and i can see their similarities btw the 2 programs, but i am still having trouble...These are my questions:

1) Is there anyone online where i can find tutorials which actually show me how to do things on cubase?

2)How does the whole music making thing work? Like with samples, and plug ins and all that stuff.

3) Does cubase come with plugins like logic does?

4) if there are plugins in cubase how do i assign them to an audio track?

Thats all i can think of now but i am sure more questions will come up! Thanks for the help guys...

yes there are some plugins in cubase
like the vb-1 (bass)
to add them to your track you do that

Devices->VST Instruments->(left click on the "no instrument")->(choose the plugin you want)

after that you open a MIDI Track
and connect the plugin to the midi track

thanks, i have managed to get the plugins working but there is no sound!

I havent got my midi keyboard hooked up to my pc yet, so is there another way of playing notes without doing it thru a keyboard?

Also can i make samples/loops?
