Thanks all.
Babaluma, interesting reply as I know Simon used the MS-20 alot.
I've used Zebra a good bit and have done some basic checking out of Diva... do you think Diva really has advantages in this area over something like Zebra if I'm already getting used to that?
I have the MS-20 VST but getting used to the patch panel, and learning what it can really pull off for good goa/psy timbres has been slow going. I haven't found many decent presets, or tutorials, to study for the MS-20.
zebra is a good allround synth with lots of functionality, while diva does few specific things extremely good. those are emulation of the classic sounds of the minimoog, jupiter-8/6, juno-60, alpha juno and MS-20. so if you're after the sounds from the MS-20, i guess diva will be the second best option after an actual MS-20.
@nectarios
they've now released a mac version of phoscyon.

How about the Korg Legacy collection?
It actually contains an emulation of the MS-20.
Just gave the legacy cell a spin, and I'm surprised how good it still is after so many years.
Very well suited for acid type of sounds.

if you want the 303 sounds the xoxbox is a good alternative , but i think you are after acid sounds in general then synths are more versatile..distortion used is big part of the sound.
myself for acid sounds i never go for a tb303 emu for example..i go for synths plugs , as long as it scream .. try largo it s good for old digital acid sounds used in goa..i like ace too, zebra diva dcam..basically any synths

Anyone know of quality learning material for the MS-20? I have the legacy collection, so I guess it's time I start buckling down on the MS-20.
I know the basics of the patch panel but I'd like to see some in depth, evolved examples and tips if any exist.

Example for bassline typical resonant squelches and for that distorted acid sound through the ProCo Rat 2 pedal.
All of them is my x0xb0x.
all the correct parts Greyhill encoders Alpha pots matched 536’s in the VCF 945 in Q11 with high gain 733 in Q8 Q9 & Q10 Selected BA6110 for the VCA with matched transistors in the current mirrors I even use original an6562 not the cheap lm348
all parts specified by Adafruit bought from Mouser & Digi-Key in the USA and RS and Farnell in the UK
