Hello Forum
I'm pretty productive lately, and i have a few balls flying in the air at the same time, but i think i'll manage to finish all my projects. I started this weird psy track just two days ago, but i've come really far, and it's far enough for you guys to push me back on the right tracks to get this right.

And ofcourse, enjoy it as well!

Nice one. The mix is pretty good.
You make progress with sounds at the track too fast. I would dig on the triplets bassline at the start for at list 8 bars without any groove elements. Why did you played the snare after just 4 bars? and this is right to most of your sounds at the track. You don't need to hurry up and to play all your sounds so fast.
You need more breaks. You don't have small breaks at all. 1-2 bars without bassline, kick, or groove every 16 bars. It would make your track much punchier. You have to raise up your open hh. It's very strong elements. It pushes the track and gives it more power.
Honestly i don't dig the melodies here. It's not trancy or psychedelic at all. Try to recreate some melodies of your favorite artists. It will give you some more clue on how to write nice trance melodies.

Pretty nice I would actually add some highs on snare, and some compression to make it more "snap" (sorry, don't know the exact word for it in english)
and I agree with Chichke, some breaks will fit right
Cheers

No need for compression. What would you like to compress?           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

I never compress anyhting
Generally because i don't know how to. But as you guys say, as long as i mix the sound clean anough, and give it the right EQ, that won't be necessary either?

I DO want to be able to compress my hats and so on in the future since people say producers benefit from that.

Anyway, i have added short breaks as you guys said, made more melodies, now i'm gonna add a little more psychedelic touches, modulations etc.

My goal is to keep my music as a bridge between house and fullon.

And thanks for the wonderful feedback Chichke!            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

No problem mate!
and again forget about compression. In electronic music you barely need it. I once read Infected Mushroom say they almost don't use compression and just one week ago Domestic told me the same thing. And hh even in rock are rarely compressed. just choose good samples and make good eq on them.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

Hah, really? Even infected don't compress? Well then i guess it's overrated afterall, because they manage to get som pretty clean mixes. I love their song "Dream Theatre" even though infected are really commercial..

Anyway, EQ'ing percussion, would the smartest choice be.. to make everything crystal clear, and add the right reverb to it?
And what size chould the room be if i were to add reverb on the group channel?            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

i don't put reverb on my percussions. It will mask them. I only put reverb on fx and leads. There are no rules on how much reverb to put, and which room size of reverb to use. It's depends on what you put the reverb and what you want to achieve. Do what sounds good for you...           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

What does it mean to "mask" the sounds?
And, i enjoy having a moderate amount of reverb on FX actually, it makes certain sounds.. athmospheric, in a way.

Leads are hard to "reverberate" if thats what people call it, but usually a HUGE room size, and a quite low mix is what i... need. :l            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe
