All i see is different genre names when i look at topics over here. there is no sensible discussion or anything.
-trance artists making techno FTW!
-(New )Styles of Progressive and Dark Psy - How would you describe them?

these were from first 2 pages.
everytime i check out trance section its full of this kind of topics. so it looks like a trash bag rather then a trance forum.
talk about music for jah's sake.
and moderators why are you here? why do you let people open millions of new darkpsy threads or this and that, while you instantly lock political topics.

let it keep going for another year and there will be so much sub genres - as much as artists exist , and then it will all be back to normal

I don't care that subgenres are mentioned..sometimes they can be helpful, but arguing over them (and especially what they should be called) is stupid. You can only judge music by hearing it, but I would rather hear someone say "dark psy" than "those tracks in the 147-150+ bpm range with lots of fx and not much melody that people usually party to at night".
I'll agree that the "(New )Styles of Progressive and Dark Psy - How would you describe them?" thread is a bit useless, but the rest of them are just looking for recommendations and attempting to describe what they're looking for, and I don't think that's killing the forum.

and what means to kill a forum.
a forum is a place for talking, for discussing, argumenating, sometimes getting rid of the every day emotions in life and telling someone to go to hell, sometimes telling them all how much you love them and how much you miss the last party. this is a forum. it cannot be killed by talking and jeanring. actually it cannot be killed by argumnetating either, it gets only richer by the variety of opinions at the end.
artists usually dont like jeanres. they just do it. it is the other that put the jeanres in the jungle of music nowadays. and it is good like that. segmentation is not even slightly a bad thing. otherwise you are lost in so much music and parties. doesnt have a fucking meaning to call the music just music.

Actually, from what I see:
Posts like yours are superfluous/unnecessary.
All topics you mentioned are the heart & the center of our trance scene. It’s the trance it self! Do you want topics about politics? About the boring life that include lots of complains (complains about isratrance posts for example).
The moderators are doing very well. They should delete everything not related to music.
I can see that you hate dark trance. This is what kills your feelings.
I love Dark trance & cheesy trance and all other genres and love to see many posts about it here rather than seeing like this post: Oh mamy  why is there many dark trance posts? Why there is no something about chillout that I make. I feel very upset.
Com’n man, listen to the new Manifold album now you will open a post about it.
