What are you to do when you live in a Suburb of Tampa, Florida, and the music you make could be categorized as Israeli Trance Judging by sound. Im not from Israel, so what shall i call it? Psychedelic Trance?

why do you think someone would care if it's regarded as ISRAELI trance? are you suggesting israeli trance is shunned upon at tampa?
besides, i don't really think you should confine it to terms and labels. music is music.

not that i myself care, hence the title genre facism. it is just music. but when you are introducing your music its nice to know what you should call it. the people here know as much about goa trance as there own government, thats not saying much either. i like to call it trippy ass music

i call it music. and as i have stated before:
Music should have NO bounderies. it reaches people of all sexes, of all ages, race, color and country. regardless of how you call it. and if someone is gonna frown upon "Israeli trance music" or "Texan country music" or "Newt Gingrich big beat techno music", than he isn't a friend, least of all a human being with the basic understanding of music and life.

Id like to organize a party in florida, but i think the people here are not ready for it. The electric music we call breaks, other places its called big beat, but the main influence here is what we like to call "Shitty Booty Breaks" its all for the trendies, and I must say they need to die off. Ecstacy has a big influence on the music here too, goa is more psychedelic and for the mind... ecstacy and its following musical crowd is for the college boys and slut girls, at least in my area... maybe its different in israel? I hope so, the scene here is discraceful...

hey man go underground. like in fight club or married with children, start out small and if it is a good something and you are good at running it it will grow.
make a party in the middle of nowhere wih your friends, florida is big and has a good climate for the parties (use bug spray). anyway im kind of a DIY (do it yourself) fanatic so i highly recomend you try something. im sure people in the forum will want to help you.
Work like you don't need the money.
