Genki Music is back with the fourth installment of Tribal Disco, proud to host international guest BUS (Gus Till) alongside top local artists Nick Taylor and Benza with the iconic Melbourne dj slacker Jack Unit on the decks. This promises to be our biggest event yet....
BUS (Gus Till)
Bus, aka Gus Till/Slinky Wizard/Zen Lemonade, returns to the source.
A pioneer of psychedelic and experimental music, Gus Till has released over 60 tracks under a variety of names on top labels worldwide including Dragonfly, Iboga, Tip World, 10 kilo, Blueroom, Turbo Trance, Phonokol, SUB and Flying Rhino.
Over more than 30 years on the cutting edge Gus has shaped the face of current music in too many ways to mention - working with names such as Michael Hutchence (Max Q), The Models/Beargarden (playing keyboard), Adam Freeland, James Monroe(Stoop and Fidget), Ollie Olsen (Third Eye), Bono and the Edge, Todd Terry, Manu Dibango, Nina Hagen, Youth, System 7, and Jamiroquai, performing to audiences at festivals and in clubs spanning the entire globe.
Just back from a tour of the USA and Canada launching his album 'morebusinesslinkyouthere,' we are extremely pleased to have Gus Till join us for Tribal Disco IV.
Copies of the album, out now on SUB records, will be available on the night.
